Here are some quick reminders about how to use different parts of Google Classroom from our class!

Turn in an assignment with a doc assigned to you

If your teacher attached a document with your name in the title, it’s your personal copy to review and edit. As you work, your teacher can review your progress before you click Turn in
  1. Click the classand thenClassworkand thenthe assignment.
  2. To open the assigned file, click the thumbnail with your name on it. 
  3. Enter your work.
  4. Choose one:
    • In the document, click Turn in and confirm. 
    • In Classroom, in the assignment, click Turn In and confirm.
      Click Turn In
      The status of the assignment changes to Turned in.

Here's the HOW TO for attaching a photo to an assignment:


On a Computer: 

  1. Click the classand thenClassworkand thenthe assignment.
  2. To attach a photo:
    1. Under Your work, click Add or createand thenselect Google Drive Drive or File Attach.
      Add or create your work files
    2. Select the photo or file and click Add.
      Note: You can't attach a file you don't own.
      Note: You can attach or create more than one file.
  3. Click Turn In and confirm.
    The status of the assignment changes to Turned in.
    Click Turn In

On a Phone:

  1. Tap Classroom Classroom.
  2. Tap the classand thenClassworkand thenthe assignment.
  3. On the Your work card, tap Expand Expand.
    Open Your work
  4. To attach an item:
    1. Tap Add attachment.
    2. Tap Drive Drive, Link Link, File Upload,  Pick photo Pick photo, or Use camera Use camera.
    3. Select the photo or use the camera to take a photo.
  5. Tap Turn In and confirm.
    The assignment status changes to Turned in.
    Tap Turn In
